SCRLC members can get involved in governance of the organization through SCRLC’s seven Advisory Committees. Participation is open to all levels of membership, including personal members, from all types of libraries and cultural heritage organizations in the region and reflect the diversity of the SCRLC membership.
Serving on an advisory committee is rewarding. Through participation, advisory committee members experience excellent networking opportunities while impacting regional and statewide programs, services, and policies. Advisory committee members bring a voice from their institutional type to the table while at the same time they review and consider programs, services, and policies that could benefit the entire region.
Contact any ex officio member of the committees if you would like to learn more about joining.
