Elma Mitchell was a historian and schoolteacher for decades, working throughout Delaware County. She wrote a three-volume work about the history of East Meredith, and donated postcards, photographs, and documents to the Hanford Mills Museum before her death in 2004.
Todd and Connie Weseloh loved canals so much that they got married on a replica canal boat the Canal Museum where they both worked! The Canal Society of New York State has scanned part of their donated collection, which includes some particularly interesting photographs of boat interiors.
