Libraries have long collected data and aspired to present this information in a compelling and clear manner. In this session, the presenters will discuss the genesis of local initiatives and the materials created with a specific audience in mind. They will highlight effective visual materials created by other libraries to illustrate the impact of library services and resources. Good design principles for developing visual materials for both online and print formats and selected software applications for creating data visualizations will be reviewed.
