South Central Onsite Reciprocal Access (SCORA) Program Webinar

Oct 28, 2019, 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Sign up for the webinar on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 10 AM to learn how you can become a part of South Central's new SCORA Program!

Description: SCRLC is pleased to announce SCORA-the South Central Onsite Reciprocal Access program. Developed in conjunction with the Resource Sharing Advisory Committee and approved by the Board of Trustees, SCORA is a program designed to help serious library users obtain information at their point of need. It enables them to create a library account and check out circulating materials from participating libraries, in person. It does not replace existing reciprocal onsite agreements-it increases the opportunities for users to borrow onsite from a larger number of libraries. Relationships are between individual libraries.

Location: Online via Zoom.

Who should attend: Any SCRLC member library or member of an SCRLC library system who is interested in joining or learning more about the SCORA program.

Session Length: 1 hour

Cost: There is no charge.

Outcomes: By the end of the program, you will:

  • learn how the program works and how it can benefit users across our region;
  • have the opportunity to sign up to become a participating library;
  • understand who is eligible to use SCORA and how to register borrowers to participate in the program.

Presenter(s): Mary-Carol Lindbloom, Executive Director of SCRLC and Molly Brown, Outreach Services Librarian.

You do not need to wait for the webinar to sign up to participate in SCORA, though! In fact, we'd like everyone to sign up as soon as possible so that we can upload a chart showing all of the participants! If you are interested, please contact Molly at or 607-273-9106 ext. 204.
