Description
This intro to quantitative assessment will get you started with using metrics to assess library services and resources. We will look at data sources and data analysis, and examples how of data can be applied to decision-making in collections, staffing and process improvement. The session will wrap up with tips and a list of practical resources to support your success.

photo of Wendi AckermanAbout the Instructor Wendi Ackerman MLS, AHIP, is Deputy Director at the Upstate Health Sciences Library in Syracuse. She began her career with SUNY libraries in 1999 at SUNY Oswego where she worked first as a Librarian then as the Campus Web Coordinator. Since joining Upstate eleven years ago, she has worked in just about every area of the library, but currently oversees information resources (collection/acquisitions), library systems (tech support/web site), interlibrary loan and is coordinator of library assessment.
