New Yorkers can access this online library of hundreds of magazines, newspapers, maps, charts, and research and reference books 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by logging on to NOVELny-the New York Online Virtual Electronic Library.
This wide variety of resources is available FREE OF CHARGE. All you need is your public library card, New York driver license, or non-driver ID. Students may also access the NOVELny databases through their school or academic library.
NOVELny is funded by the Federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) program through the New York State Library. Any not-for-profit library in New York State that is a member of a NYS library system, including SCRLC, may directly register to offer access to the NOVEL databases.
