Experienced educator, coach & keynote speaker Maurice Coleman will show you practical skills to deal with sudden controversial, & confrontational conversations in this interactive workshop.

Presenter: Maurice Coleman [he/him/his] is an educator, keynote speaker, and podcast host. Maurice uses his decades of practical experience to help people and organizations empower themselves with better leadership, communication, and technology skills to create positive change.
He has facilitated numerous training and leadership coaching sessions internationally for many organizations. He has facilitated experiences for the Sacramento Public Library, Lyrasis, The American Library Association, California Library Association, Florida Library Webinars, Urban Libraries Unite, LibraryWorks, Library 2.0, and the Ontario (CAN) Library Association.
Maurice is a co-host and co-producer of the Information Gone Wild podcast of the SJSU iSchool and since 2008 has hosted and produced the training & empowerment podcast T is for Training. In 2010, he was named a Library Journal Mover and Shaker, and the Citizens for Maryland Libraries Davis McCarn Technology Award recipient.
