Join Rachel Buckwalter for a program focusing on the latest covid and flu vaccines.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will learn the importance of receiving an annual flu shot and the updated Covid vaccine to prevent disease
Participants will learn about the composition of both vaccines which have been updated to provide protection against virus strains that are currently circulating
Participants will be able to state the recommended time to receive these vaccines for maximum protection
There will be time for a Q&A about other vaccines available

Rachel Buckwalter RN, BSN is the Director of Community Health at Tompkins County Whole Health. She has 20 years of experience as a nurse, including pediatrics, community health, home care, hospice, maternal child health and public health. She is interested in building healthy communities. She lives in Ithaca with her family and can be found hiking, reading or cooking when not at work.
