Description: Southern Tier Digital Equity Coalition (STDEC) will host a public comment informational meeting for any residents interested in learning about the ConnectALL Office's (CAO) – New York State's Digital Equity Plan. This plan is currently in its public comment phase, and the CAO is seeking input from Southern Tier residents. The deadline for public comment is Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
During this online meeting, members of the STDEC will share details about how the group collected community data on behalf of the CAO for the proposed digital equity plan, offer an overview of data collected, provide online links to the proposed plan, direct residents to where they can submit their public comments, and share contact information for where questions can be sent to the CAO.
The duration of this meeting is 60-minutes. The STDEC will be able to answer questions about how the group collected data for the plan using the tools provided by the CAO. STDEC is not able to answer questions about the proposed plan, or the intended outcomes of the plan. These questions will need to be directed to the ConnectALL Office using the contact information provided.
