Diaries written by farmer Henry Wilcox. The Swart-Wilcox House is the oldest house in the City of Oneonta, built In 1807 by Revolutionary War Soldier Lawrence Swart (1753-1841), on the Susquehanna River. The land was sold to Peter Collier and Jared Goodyear in 1841. In 1867, they sold the remaining acres to Henry and Phoebe Wilcox. The Wilcox family lived in the house for over 100 years.
