SCRLC Advisory Committee members are chosen to represent the region and all library types. Committee members do not act as agents of their institution, but as representatives for the entire region.

Nominations for new members are solicited from the membership, the committee, the Board, and the staff.Terms on the committee will normally be three years with the option of continuing to serve.The Chair will be selected by the members of the committee.
